For the Winter edition of the Juxtapoz magazine I tried to do the masthead by handpainting the letters. The Juxtapoz magazine generally provides the room for interpretation and lot of handmade explorations were done in other editions too to give the cover lot of character by embracing the handpainted imperfections. 

I tried to make it seem like there is a shadow hitting the back of the letters almost like being photographed with a flash. The main articles are handwritten with black pen to compliment the main piece.
